If you have downloaded this game there is a chance you have got a dodgy copy that went around.

1.Make sure when you put the game on your hdd that its game partition only....

2.If your ripping your original through wii make sure you have installed rev17+ cios.(or use the 222.dol or change your loader to use 222/223 before you rip the game then change it back)

    3.Use cfg or wiiflow(my opinion)

Hey thanks guys! I tried both wiiflow and cfg on cIOS 222 but still no luck. Any idea on other patches I might want to apply? Or should I just try reinstalling Hermes cIOS?

I just found out about a Wii App called "Brick My Wii" which seems to look at the various IOS files to see if they are installed/up to date and update/install them if they are not. Man, it seems a LOT of my IOS files are out of date, perhaps that could be an issue.

Once it is all done, I will test & see & report my findings.

I have edited your post with emphasis added to make a point. Don't do this, 'nuff said.

Well, unfortunatly, I already did it. As far as I can tell, there are no issues right now with it.

All I can say is caveat emptor --- you've been warned (I don't mean in terms of any action on siteops' parts by this).

Some folks don't have issues with the apps we frown upon, but there are certainly enough that do. We don't say these things to simply be mean or intolerant, but what is the point of asking for advice from folks like us, if you aren't gonna listen.

I am not meaning that in a disrespectful way, but rather that I had already run that App before I noticed that others had replied about it being bad. I shall have to see if I do have a backup.

EDIT: Well, it would seem I was smart enough to do a NAND backup before modding my Wii it would seem. So, I use that, and then try to restart doing the stuff I did already?

if you restore with your nand, your wii will be in the exact state when you backed it up. it`s like nothing happened after doing the backup
