It plays fine until I re-install the other isos. I have tried WiiFlow, Gx, and CFG. None of them makes a difference.
Nobody has anything for me on this one, Huh! Oh well it was worth a shot.

Tried this but controller still will not function when turned vertical. I resynced the remote, tried the other two controllers, used all the ios's that were available and nothing. The view will just not change when I turn the controller. Any other suggestions?

I'm guessing you didn't see the quote attributed to WiiPower under the softmod instructions?

Your reply seems more concerned in replying to a non-existent controller suggestion, rather than proper cIOS installation. Did you read what he asked? You could always make a SysCheck and post it in a reply (only after confirming you installed the cIOS as you were supposed to).

I've gone through this thread a thousand times and can't seem to get this working. The original disc will not load up when tried normally, and both Uloader V5.1E and USB Loader GX 807 will not mount the disc. It gives "could not open" error. I have tried 222/223/249 with no luck. If I use an iso file it gets to the Babies Cry scene and freezes. Below is what have loaded. What am I missing?

    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu 4.2U (v481)
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 46981362
    Boot2 v4

    Found 122 titles.
Found 38 IOS on this console. 9 of them are stub.

    IOS56 (rev 5662): No Patches
IOS202 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS222 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS223 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS224 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS249 (rev 17): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
    IOS254 (rev 65281): BootMii
    BC v6
    MIOS v10

Edit: WiiFlow was no go either, nor can I add ISO rip from original disc

You should have no issues with the original with the IOS56 installed. Perhaps a drive issue?

You have hermes version 5 or 5.1 installed to 222 and 223. You should have v4 installed (like the guide instructs). Try configurable USB loader from my signature. Use the 222 revision of cfg.... after installing Hermes v4, rip the original to the HDD using Cfg USB loader. Be sure the game is set to load with IOS222 or 223.
    Damn I suck!!!!

So, as I said before, I have tried playing Metroid Other M. Everything works fine until I get to the training part where you have to turn your controller vertical for missiles. When I turn the remote, nothing happens. It just stays in the third person view. The game will not progress further then that. I have loaded is with USB Loader GX using IOS222, 223, 249 & 250. Nothing seems to work. Does any one have any suggestions?

I assume this is not an original copy you are using. Or possibly some other odd issue. Have you tried more then one Wii Remote?

I suggest ripping the Original game to your HDD using Cfg USB Loader 222 revision.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I've tried both V5.1, and V4 previously. This go I did the above with same results using CFG Loader V60. Should IOS56 be a CIOS? I get Error RET = -2 when trying to rip the disc. (It makes the clicking sounds SSBB used to make when loading this disc) When accessing the standard way of playing a game it gets the "cannot read disc" error with the same access clicking noise. All other discs work normally.

    Below is what's in Wii

As Krank was aluding to, if you ripped it with IOS 249 then it was an improper rip --- Rev 14 of that for a dual layered game is broken, and any rip made with it would be corrupt. You can also rip via USB Loader GX (only after specifically setting it to use IOS 222) in addition to his suggestion.
