Just replying to people who have the same problem as me, so they can correct it...
Everytime I ran Metroid: Other M through USBLoaderGX it just gave me a black screen. Every and any other game work(ed) as a charm...
The thing is: USBLoaderGX NTFS compatibility SEEMED to be limited to all the games but MetroidOM. All I had to do was format my HDD (took reeeeal time) and partition it with a WBFS partition...
The solution seems stupid, but I did saw ppl with the same issue, and not being able to solve it...
No1 the awnser I need so let's try this again:
I need to update my wii to 4.3u in order to play Metroid: the Other M on my hardmodded Wii (4.1u, Wiikey 2), but I don't want to. I heard I need to install IOS56-64-v5661 to make it work, but Idk if that's possible by using Ithian's softmodding method (http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/59...tml#post369062)
What I want to ask is: Can I use it to install IOS56-64-v5661 instead of IOS56-64-v5405 safely?
And no. I havent used used it to play MG2 yet (I still didnt get myself a SD card...)
Yes you can use it to install IOS56 v5661. There is also a guide by Mauifrog about updating your IOS when you have a hardmod.
Damn I suck!!!!
I just rented the game (so I have the original disc) and when I put the disc in, it says Unable to read disc. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that my Wii is softmodded and/or I'm using a USB loader (WiiFlow) and/or it is a DL game. I did a search for "Metroid Unable to read disc" and I got nothing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT|| My Wii is about 3-4 years old. Is it just a matter of cleaning the lens? I'll get a cleaning kit tomorrow and extend the rent, if that's what it is... Of course, sending the Wii back to Nintendo for repair is out of the question.

ok so I really need help.
I have a wii on 4.2U. I want to use a dvd (not SD card or USB). Do I have to buy a dual layer disk? I tried to burn it on a regular dvd and it says that It can not read it on Darkcorp or Neogamma. Also, I already have 222 v4 and 223 v4 because I checked syscheck. Thanks!
How old is your Wii? Maybe it to new to read backup DVD-Rs.
I forgot is there anyway to check?
Lol, how are you able to burn it onto a regular disk and not a dual layer one?
