Finally got this working on USB Loader GX, much thanks for the help in this thread. Making sure I switched the settings for USB Loader GX to 222 before I ripped the disc did the trick and obviously using 222 in the game settings as well. Thanks again, really enjoying this so far. I pesonally find the story scenes interesting up to this point although I can see why some people think its getting a little carried away but I can deal. Also, best graphics I've seen on the Wii thus far in my opinion.

I can't get Metroid to play on my softmod wii.
I'm using 3.1u with a backup launcher and I have Metroid on a Dual Layer disc. I've installed hermes and IOS 222 and 223 and when I run the game I encounter error 972.
Whats the solution?

yes, i tried that but neither softmod method or hardmod method worked.I updatse my ios56, with that file, but when i insert the disk, it does not appear in the disc channel, if i go to the disc channel, it shows "error game disc, eject blah blah" and i launch it through geckOS, and it gets to the part after the language and subtitles selection where it says "now loading", then it just goes black, and i have to turn my wii off.
