    Error 001

Hello, I've been trying to get this game to work for at least 3 hours now. I did everything stated in the first post by dave, but get a 001 error. I then read the rev19 solution, but when I install it my USB port cease to work. I downgraded back to rev14 but now I am back to the 001 problem.

Booting the game with 222 or 223 gets the same result (error 001) and if I try to load with 249 game freezes in the "begin something" when you press the A button. I've tried running 222/223 with Force NTCS and error 002 fix, but I always get the error 001 screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

EDIT 1: Installed the newest USB loader GX and choose 223, apparently my loader was outdated.

Why do you think this is so? There's a reason for everything and we try to fail-proof our guides.
But that's precisely my point. There's obviously a reason, but it isn't being made known so I can make an educated decision. I want to know what the problems with it actually are so I can know how it will affect my system.

I've already downloaded and isntalled cIOSX rev19 with 57. But my MH3 not working, so I try to run directly from disc boot that required update wii.

Stupid me, then I update my wii with that DVD game. Right now I can play directly from disc boot, but when I use USB Loader, I can't use anymore to backup my game into USB HDD. It mentions that no wbfs partition. But, when I boot USB HDD from USB Loader GX, I still can play from that USB HDD.

Is there any explanation or maybe a way out so my USB HDD can be detected again from my Wii. Thxz...

If it helps anyone, Monster Hunter Trio(PAL Back-up) seems to work fine with firmware 4.2E and a Wasabi DX firmware 3.0 (using Datawrite Grey)

Monster Hunter 3 Tri (alternate non-wiihacks methods)

Under the axiom of "there's more than one way to skin a cat," other users have suggested (with varying degrees of success or failure) alternate methods of getting Monster Hunter 3 Tri to play with regard to backup discs. This thread represents the culmination of those posts originally seen here. As these are contrary to the Recommended Guide, they've been physically moved into their own separate thread here.

No wiihacks staff support whatever is contained herein, and any questions shall be directed to the users who wish to contribute.

I have tried Hermes cios 222 and 223 installer and the result is always the same. I have done absolutely everything that I could but everyone's recommended fix is for those who have the standard freeze. My iso was download from tehparadox.com and I did not get it from a disk but I used the sfv checker and it says that the iso is completely fine. I also downloaded other MH3 isos and it gives me the exacts same result. Is there anyone game that freezes after the wii gives the wrist strap warning and then says "checking wii system memory"? Please Help Me! I have been doing this for three days straight without success! I just want to play this game!
Did anyone ever find a solution for this? I have a copy of the disc, I use USB loading for loading screen purposes. I had my monster hunter tri working flawlessly up until recently. The only new thing i've done is install cIOS38 rev 17. But I'm getting this exact problem now whether I load the game from my channel or USB Loader GX. Anyone else have this?

Don't forget to thank me if I helped you out!

    Monster Hunter 3 Tri

I have followed all of these guides and finally got it to load using NeoGamma, however whenever I press Begin game, the screen goes black and a loud dead tone begins. Any idea why and how to fix it?

I can play monster hunter tri NTSC-U. but the problem is that I can't play online. I using neogamma and lan adapter to connect to internet; all games works fine and online. However, for monster hunter when I try to connect online I always disconnect from the server after 75% loading it said that my internet is not connect properly. If it's true why, I can play all wii games online? Do I need to buy the original dvd to play online? or is there a problem with my wii region? ( I change the my wii japan version into USA version using softmod )
