Seems that this is the latest game causing some loading problems! But dont worry, its a simple fix!

It seems to load ok for most people, but when asked to press A after selecting the type of game you want to play the Wii crashes and makes a noise that sends my pussy cats mad!

So, this is what you need to do: (disc AND usb loading)

1. Download this: Hermes_cIOS222_223_installer_3.0_(rev4)
2. Extract/copy it to your apps directory on your SD card.
3. Run the installer, and install IOS223 as 37 merged with 38.
4. Run MH3 (making sure to select ios223 in your loader)
5. Enjoy!

**You will not be able to use neogamma, as it wont allow you to select ios 223, you can use CFG usb loader and USB loader GX to boot discs.**

**You may need to set 002 fix to YES in your loader if you get a 002 error**

As far as i am aware, modchip users will have no problems.

When I select IOS 223 and select "install custom IOS 223" I get the option to "Use IOS 38 merged with IOS 37".

Is this the right one? It's explained backwards from your tutorial.

EDIT: Which IOS do we choose from the start screen? 249 or 223? I've seen other guides ask for 249.

tried running the hermes installer, when I select 223 and press A... nothing happens, controller loses sync and have to reset. Loaded dop-mii, chose 223 and when I pressed A to select it - I got error message saying 223 does not accept fake-signing..is there a step I am missing?

Alright, I got the game to work. This is what I did.

Download this: Hermes_cIOS222_223_installer_3.0_(rev4).zip
Extract / copy it to your apps directory on your SD card.
Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer
Read the warning message and push A
Select IOS249 to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
Select to Install Custom IOS 222 and select IOS38 merged with IOS37
Wait for download and installation to complete
Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer again
Select IOS249 to perform the install again
This time select Custom IOS 223 and select merge with IOS38 and IOS37.
In your USB loader, make sure to load with CIOS223 when you're booting the game.

Start the game up with your favorite USB loader and play!

If the game fail boot, play around with the options like "error fix 002" and "force NTSC".

OMG, thank you very much watermelon, it is working for me as well !!!
After I have installed following the exact steps described, I have used uLoader 3.5 and I was able to launch it from the DVD.

for some reason i went through the installer and i did the patchings as said then when i try to start the game with Wiiflow put it in ios 223 then it will sat please wait and then it gets stuck any ideas on this

Like I said, if it doesn't work initially after doing these merges then change your boot options. Turn all of them on if you have to (video mode, 002 fix, block IOS reload, etc).

Otherwise, you probably didn't follow these guides fully. Do you have this problem with any other games? I've noticed that PAL games give me more problems too.

im sorry i followed your guide and it dosnt work with usb loader gx,but it works with cfg so thanks anyway with the rset of the guide

Nope i have the game NTSC USA Wii an other games work fine im using wiiflow for the game
