    Can someone confirm something for me please?

    Ok so i have a PAL console, and i am Not going to use a USB HDD, i want to launch it from Disc....but i am confused, should i get hold of a NTSC version of the game and force it to PAL?

    Will the PAL game not launch on a PAL console?

    I would prefer, like all my games that i use PAL copies, but are you guys saying that it won't work?

    Ok i leave the forums for like 5 hours and this thread blows up... OMG people....

    @Krank = Thank you for the great info and support.....

    @Dean147 = Are you telling me that this is the first wii game that you burned to a disk... Point and Case how do you think we all know so much about how these things work.
    1. Searching
    2. Reading (novel idea huh!!)
    3. TRIAL AND ERROR (when i started i knew little and by the other's here and my own experiments i have a greater understanding on it all)

    If this is your first game to be burned well SRY!!! but if its not... Why the hell would you not burn a copy and through it in the wii and try it out... (what will you loose-- a .50 cent disc) if it did not work then you post... and there is a little section on this forum called "Dumping and Burning Wii Disc's" YOU MIGHT want to check it out!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok now back to what i was doing before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

    Why would you force NTSC --

    PAL --> PAL
    NTSC --> NTSC

    No Need to PATCH/FORCE ANYTHING

    Man can't believe the direction this thread went: 3 pages of material, 2 full of questions, and the only legitimate one came from thelight1974. It's very disappointing to see people expecting to be spoonfed like they were toddlers.

    @Krank how's your head after banging it against that brick wall so many times lol.

    @All you other guys - The game works. There's almost nothing special about it, besides an alt dol boot if you've not yet viewed the motionplus video. How many times are you going to ask the same questions over and over, honestly? Bear some damn responsibility and learn the material you need to learn.

    Members here will go to the ends of the Earth (or the web) trying to help you out when it's needed, but displays of helplessness like in this thread are just plain demeaning to respond to.

    We all start somewhere, so I hope you'll all start taking advantage of the immeasurable resources on this site, and with any luck stop depending on others here to pin your diapers.

    //Rant off

    Confirmed that watching the Wii Sports Resort WM+ video using it's alternate dol enables Red Steel 2 to be played.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    You have one dark night and people take up arms. I'll respond briefly.

    Granted I may have been more tactful in my approach had I made that post this morning, I still stand by those statements. I think what I'm consistently disappointed in from people, and this extends greatly into the real world as well, is their willingness to let others do their work for them, and to a certain extent that's what's going on here.

    Like I said, the members here will go way out of their way to help, and gladly, but they do so of their own time and accord. A search may take hours, it may take days (it took me two months once, ironically), but in the end it's the user's responsibility to do so, no other's.

    Speaking of, and for future reference, typing in "green screen" in the search bar would have yielded you with numerous threads to sufficiently answer your question. Try to keep your searches as basic as possible, using the most important keywords, and the search bar will usually get you pretty close to the information you're looking for.

    For clarity's sake, my previous post was made in reference to the second two pages of questions, starting with the fellow who demonstrated his almost complete unwillingness to search, even when pointed in a direction.

    Any further inquiries should be directed to my inbox and not to this thread, so as to keep it on topic.
