Is there a way to break open a *.iso file?

I downloaded this image containing n64 roms and i'm trying to add a couple of my roms in there. Hopefully I could turn it back into image and release it on torrents if it's successful.

All I need to know is how to view the files in the image.

To view files in a Wii Game image you would need to use the Trucha tool but I'm not sure if that would be the same for Emulator pack as I believe the Emulator pack are made into Gamecube images so there is probably an equivelant for that. Try also looking into GCOS tool which is used to make Emaulator packs.
