lol there are 4 employees in the store that got a Wii, so we are all fighting over the games.

We get 20% off purchasing anything in the store minus consoles. Its ok tho, i got the Wii points for 20% off such a deal!

I just need to find a store that carries Wii controllers and nunchucks then ill be set.

Lucky! I'll be sure to apply to EB when I want to work.

i refuse to go into the EB by me, it is run by dicks. They are snobby and think that they are the king shit of all the gaming world. jerks. Not saying that all employees of EB are jerks, just the ones that work in the mall by me.

Also their trading values suck ass, I trade games in at work when they have the minimum value of $8 for a game

It's sad to hear that. The first time I went to try out the Wii () some girl kind of threw the Wiimote to me and left. Geez. >_>
When I was playing the demo Wii (this is the same EB, btw) for the second time, some guys over the counter were explaining and introducing an elderly couple () about Xbox Live among other things. One of them went out of their way to manually type up a list of PS1 games for my friend. They were quite possibly some of the most considerate salespeople I've ever seen.
I don't know about the managers though.

I was surpised to find Wii games at the little corner store that casually rents games when I went with my friend to rent a game, but Blockbuster had none.

You are right, some of those mom and pop stores have more rentals than the big chain stores. They even offer more money most of the time on trade ins than the big franchises.

yeah if you can find the little stores go to them cause they deserve your business more than a chain. Its just hard to find a good one anymore. All the ones around me only have old movies to rent and most of them dont work

and hey if they rent games at all its a bonus !

What's to stop someone from renting a Wii console then just keeping it and paying the store for it... er... be RIGHT back...

For real though, I saw games at Rogers the other day, I didn't check on consoles, but if you could rent one, couldn't you just pay them out for it? You could say you "broke it"

I think the renting of consoles ended with the Xbox/Ps2 era, I know blockbuster will not be offering Wii's to rent in Canada anyways
    Rrrrrol up the Rrrrrrim Stats:

    "Please play again" = 25
    Free Coffee/Donut = 4

They can overcharge you for it like say... $500? That's enough to buy a brand new Wii on eBay
