I recently bought a chipped Wii while on holiday in Hong Kong, so i persume its gonna be a jap mod. anyways, does this mean that i cannot download and play PAL games? i downloaded a few games on USA format and some worked, while others just got to the loading screen and semi-bricked. Bit Annoying.

Being a jap mod, will this limit me to playing jap games? i know its alot of questions, but getting rather annoyed at spending hours on end downloading games to find that they don't work.

Please help me guys, and can you let me know any good sites to download NTSC games, should PAL games not work on Jap mods.

As long as you region patch and brick block the iso before burning iso, you should be able to play any region games. Search for wiu1.1 in this forums.

I use wiu 1.1, however I have a question. I patch any iso i download that has an update, however I don't do a region patch and the other regions seem to play just fine. Is there a reason I should do a region patch if my mod chip allows me to play them? I can see a reason for the brick blocker but why the region patch?

If your modchip allows any region games to be played (region free) then there is no need to Region patch it.
