Got a version of Naruto that I assume is PAL, when I put it in the Wii it says I need to update. My PAL Wii is updated to the latest firmware, none of my other PAL games ask for an update when I play them. I am afraid I may brick my Wii if I do the update (maybe the game is NTSC). I have parental control on so in theory no updates can be done until I put my code in.
Anyone else have this problem and can let me know what to do, the kids are hassling me to play it

If your console is the same region as your game.... then it is safe to update

I can only assume the game is PAL, the .nfo says PAL, but reading the game blurb it says this was only going to released in North America, so I am not so sure if a PAL version is available. If my Wii has the latest firmware it shouldn't need updating should it ? Is there a list of .iso crc's anywhere so I can check mine. Worst case scenario is I can use brickblocker on it I guess.

WUM seems to think it is OK. I have 3.2E as firmware on my Wii. Guess it just asks to update the firmware just to be sure you have the latest, fingers crossed I'll give it a go.
