Sinyk, I'm quite positive your TV is strecthing it for you. If you google a little you'll see that most people has to stretch the signal.

The Wii uses something called anamorphic widescreen, that is widescreen signal in a 4:3 box. The output is 640x480 (4:3), I'm 100% sure of it. That's a fact.

Now maybe somehow your TV can detect that signaling and put it in "full" mode for you. I have to set it manually on my Toshiba Regza LCD 32" (from Native, to Full) to see it widescreen.

I am curious to see what your screen looks like if you do not set anything.

I would go to the wiiflow homepage, download the light version so that you get all of the files required for wiiflow to work properly, then check the video mode for a game to see if it has the progressive option. If it does not, go here:

Downloads - wiiflow - Project Hosting on Google Code

and download the latest Wiiflow revision and replace the .dol file in the apps/wiiflow folder.

You need to have WiiFlow version R21 or higher from what I just read.

Select a game (it should play the little game intro tune) then go to the options (The gear icon) then in there should be a video mode option (don't know what it is exactly called, not near my wii). Scroll through the options and look for the option called Progressive.

Here's some pics to show the difference, sorry if they are dark. The tv has a black bezel:

Default Video Mode (you can see the gap between the white line and the tv bezel:

    Progressive Video Mode:

The black bars around the image are gone.

Other settings: Wii is set to 16:9 mode, 480p using component cables.

right im going to delete wii flow completely, and try what you said again, does that work with every game. is that game madworld when i put new wii flow on that game wouldnt even come on for some reason. i reckon best to start from scratch or do a nand restore which i never done never want use it, but i cant remember having those borders i think somthing gone wrong some where.

The only games I have tried this on are Madworld and Rayman Raving Rabbids and both games had no more borders after setting their video mode to progressive. You can set this mode on a game by game basis in wiiflow.
