    Wireless sensor

Hi i have a question for anyone who might know the answer i have a sft modded wii and i'm have troubles with my remote getting the pointer to be steady. Is this cause i have a wireless sensor? I would of tried my wired one but the stupid cats chewed through it. If anyone could help i would appreciate.
    Thanks in advance
