Still getting "The Disc Could Not Be Read" error while loading a backup of NSMB

I have tried EVERYTHING possible to get this damn game to work.
I am on a NTSC system with version 4.1U.

I used the Soft Mod Disc Loading Patch found here
Burned the game at a low speed
    Downloaded Neogamma R7 and R8.
Used DOP-IOS to download the IOS for 4.1 (I forgot the name) then downloaded the IOS53 for newer games, since NSMB is new.
Ran cIOS Rev 14, but I forget with which IOS. I believe 64 and then it told me I needed 38, so I followed those instructions.

When that didn't work I downloaded the QwiiF torrent that was already patched the main.dol
I need serious help. I keep getting the "Disc Could Not Be Read" error screen after seeing the controller display screen.

No offence, but DavePMs thread is extremely vague and not detailed. I have looked everywhere for my problem and all I get is threads asking my question with DavePM scolding them for not following his guide. It's very rude.

Seems like no one knows the solution other than "looking at DavePMs thread" which doesn't explain my problem one bit.

I added all of those through Wad Manager successfully and still have my problem.
I downloaded that torrent file, it's burned to a disc already.
I've burned 3 discs, one without patch (I believe it's still PAL), one that I patched on my own and one that was already patched. All give the same error. I tried the Trucha Bug, but when I attempt to start the second step with IOS15 it tells me "ES_AddTitleStart returned: -1035. Has your installed IOS36 have a higher revision than 30947."

This game is a pain in the ass!

After re-reading your post, it doesnt sound like you installed Cios249 rev 14.

When you run the installer choose IOS36. if it fails trucha bug it. if that fails then i dont really know.

all info on how to softmod is here

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

The version i posted works on system menu 3.1 with the correct IOSs.

Failing all that, update to 4.2. I did just to see what the fuss was all about and backups work fine.

Great guide to go to 4.2
    Modify any Wii 4.2 & below - GBAtemp.net

Certain games have problems on certain Wiis

Before I went to 4.2 (last week) i was still running on 3.1, My wii has no problems with Scooby doo, Tomb raider or Grand slam tennis. But other 3.1 / 3.4 Wiis cant play the games. I do the same to each machine, Some play them games some dont. Im think it might be summat to do with the weather,
or different drive chips or laser focus but its not missing IOSs.

It's definitely a cIOS issue. I've followed this guide and it worked great.

Easy way to get cIOS on ANY 3.0-4.1 Wii!
