I'm guessing you use the same directions as in this thread, but when you get the fixed ISO, you can just burn it and play it from a DVD-R? Is this correct?Originally Posted by havenlyskyhigh [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
At least you got some data I did not get any ~_~ when i got my fixed iso it was 0 bytes. The image i used to do this with is New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_Wii-QwiiF(Scrubbed)Patched am i using the right one? Thank you for your time.
I'm not sure. I used that same image but i don't think it was scrubbed or patched. It only had New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_Wii-QwiiF in the file name. I then followed this and I used Wiiscrubber to trim the fixed ISO that came out, mounted it to an SD card and it worked perfectly. Maybe try searching for the unscrubbed or unpatched image? Good luck.Originally Posted by MrPoPo24 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
ok im getting one that is not patched or anything it is called this New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_Wii-QwiiF I hope this works, I have been at this since Sunday and still no luck =( I tried almost everything i just keep getting a black screen or i get to the turn wii remote sideways and it just sits there nothing happens. I am currently using system menu 3.3U with cIOS Rev 14, I have neogamma rev8 beta 12 but that does not work either and im using usb loader gx. Should i install ios35.wad? Thank you for your time.
No I don't think that would help. I'm actually on the same cIOS. My system menu is 4.1U, but I heard it actually doesn't matter. If anything you could try installing IOS53-64-v5406.wad, but you could probably hold off on that until after you finished downloading the new image. I installed IOS53-64-v5406.wad before to try and get it working but i had no luck. I then got the New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_Wii-QwiiF image, then the New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_main.dol_FiX_Wii-iND, followed this guide to get the fixed ISO, and then just trimmed it. Try that and see if it works. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get it working. I'm not sure about the USBGX loader. I have that installed, but I was never able to get it working properly. After following this guide I used Neogamma rev 8 beta 12 and it worked if you just switched the load to SD. I tried rev 7 and that also worked. Keep trying!Originally Posted by MrPoPo24 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
thank you for all the info I have to go to school now. I will try this when i get home I just hope that I dont get zero bytes again when i run that qf-nsmbw.bat file. If anything and i know this sounds like a pain but if you could can you tell me the exact steps in what you did to get your nsmbw working that would be great and once again thank you for all the help =)
Actually, you probably won't even have to do all that anymore. Apparently there is a new patch you can use to burn directly onto a DVD and play from there. Just look here [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] , or [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] , I haven't tried it, but it seems that it actually works. You can try it with the ISO you are downloading now. It does say to have IOS53 trucha signed WAD installed though. So just install that before you try it. I'm sure you'll get it working now.Originally Posted by MrPoPo24 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
Well, I have a 4.2U soft modded with all the latest IOSs and I just ripped the game straight from my disc using USB Loader GX's install option, no patching or anything else, and it loads fine from NeoGamma r8b12, it just wont load from USB Loader GX (black screen).
I assume the next update to USB Loader GX will fix this issue.
You really shouldn't have to patch games in any hacking scene.
It's always best to keep clean ISOs and build software that patches on the fly or what not.
