Talking NSMB NTSC Works with USB LoaderGX r830

Hey guys just updated the USB Loader to r830. And guess what NSMB NTSC works like a dream. You do not need any patches, srubbing or any thing else for that matter. Just update loader to r830, rip NSMB NTSC to HDD and enjoy. I have a 4.2U. So I do not know if this will work on any other versions. Just thought I would give a heads up to save some time, headaches, and trouble. Peace.

Thanks Wiifreak83... I got a 3.3U wii with cIOS rev14 running usb loader gx rev815, and everytime I tried to load the game an error message would appear. For everyone out there with an untouched ntsc-u version of the game, all you have to do is update your usb loader gx to version 830 or above. No patching needed...

I can't find any mention of r830 out there, even on the USB Loader GX site ( USB Loader GX (Official Theme Database) - Loader ).

    830 ub gx

I got 830 on saturday by just updating using the built in updater.

NSMB works for me too, no crashes yet, through to world 3, using the nitro patched version ripped to HD

    4.0e Wii
    D2Pro chip
    USB Loader GX v830
    cIOS 13b

btw, i haven't had to install IOS53-64-v5406.wad to get it to work, strange when most threads say it is a requirement.

I had it working on Configurable USB Loader last week, what took so long for GX.

go here, and download r833.dol: Downloads - usbloader-gui - Project Hosting on Google Code
rename r833.dol to boot.dol and replace your old file with this one.
    Hope it works for ya.

Good news, thanks for the info! Got this game coming as a BD gift expected to arrive tomorrow from Amazon... wonder if the disc will work on my modded Wii? If not I suppose I could rip to my USB HDD... I'm using 4.2U with USB Loader GX Rev 830. I see lots of posts about the game trying to provide an update.

People who has USB Loader GX installed as a channel won't be able to update further than r815 since that's the latest channel available as of today.
