    Ca SD

I have been keeping up to date with all of these posts since day 1, and I have tried every disc burning method out there. I have currently infront of me 8 TY discs, that are for the most part, garbage. Like I said, I've tried everything.

So, correct me if I am wrong here. I would like to try the USB method, however, in order to do that I need to get an SD card first to enable homebrew? Is that how it works? I have a 4.1U wii, with wiikey v1.9s. That's it.

Should I go buy an SD card or what?

    My Main dol

    My nsmb fix:

I followed this guide using the WiiScrubber method and wasn't able to get nsmb to work. I already dumped the game from a US retail disc (yes I bought it and fully support Nintendo) to a USB hard drive and replaced main.dol but WBFS read it as about 4.13 GB (bad). So I figured I go the hard route and get a hex editor to edit the main dol directly. After doing so, and replacing the main.dol, WBFS read it as 0.36 GB (good). Now it works from my hard drive and from DVD using a Wiikey with truncha on. Here's my main.dol file and hope this helps others. Have fun!!

I have wii 4.2u with wiikey 1 and already got the error when i insert the disc. Is it supposed to run from disc channel ? Or we already need something like neogamma to run the game ?

At this point (100 pages) if you can't get the game to work.......go BUY it!

I see a lot of people have been working on this for 3+ days and still can't get it. Some people are getting frustrated, mad, irate, etc. It really isn't that serious.

Just go on and buy the damn game already. It is only $50. With the amount of games that you have downloaded already you are due to at least buy 1 game. Buying this 1 game won't kill you. If you can't afford to buy it, it maybe time to step away from the Wii and find a better job or work more hours.

Hey just be glad your not like most Xbox 360 users and have to buy a new 360 b/c you have been banned from XBox Live. (knock on wood I'm still not banned and I refuse to go on Live and test my luck)

I'm running 4.1U with cIOS38 rev 14 with a Wiikey running 1.9s. After using the WiiScrubber direction and replacing it with my main.dol file, yes, it loads up in the Disc channel like any legit game and I can run it.

Here's how I tested. I had to make sure my image runs from a WBFS hard drive because my Wii didn't allow Truncha signed games to run at that time. If it does not run on WBFS hard drive or SD using your favorite loader (I used WiiFlow 1.1), then it won't work from the disc channel. Next, I burned and placed my patched game in the Wii. If it crashes immediately with a black error message, then you don't have the truncha bug enabled. I used Dop-IOS v8 to allow a truncha signed game to run. After all that, I was able to get the game to run.

Note: Must use hard mod to boot from the Disc Channel.

    System updates on disc

Hi I just put the 1:1 BAHAMUT disc in and it asked to run update which I accepted as read it is safe 4.1 update.
My system is now 4.1e , but when Wii restarted it still shows system update in disc channel ???
Is this a further update to 4.2 which I understand can delete HBC??

I'm thinking of buying this game as still cant get it to work after downloading and burning about 6 copies of it, but I guess the original will want to run these updates and delete HBC !!!
