    usb/sd

ok here my issue. im softmod wii

    i tried the usb trick

downloaded the manager clean out a 2 gig jump drive loaded the game on ther with that patched version from scrubber.

loaded almost every loader that was mentioned

but for some reason the game is not being reckoning on the sd or usb card. ive tried both way, with many loaders. any suggestions as to why the loaders are not seeing the game on the sd cards

iv tried a few of the methods to get this working and no go. Im on a 4.2 softmod using usb loader, with a hdd. Iv tried the wad manager and adding the wad, iv tried replacing the .dol file with 830 and 831. I downloaded the ntsc version since i have a ntsc machine. All i get is black screen saying an error has occurred blah blah blah. Suggestions?

Marbour posted it a few threads back. Thanks to him.

Quoting Marbour "I have found that this main.dol file is only good for PAL version.
The NTSC version is right here." http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/29...-smne-dol.html

Same thing happened to me. I hooked up the HDD to my PC. copied the Ripped ISO to my PC for safekeeping. follwed instructions and patched it with the ntsc main.dol. It then worked.

so i am a noob to this all, i soft modded my wii from instructions i found on this site a while ago, i've just been burning games at this point...with my wii running a 4.1u and using neo gamma to boot the disks, am i able to look into the usb loader thing everyone is posting about or do i have to just wait for a fix to play it off a back up? i don't want to look into something that will brick my wii if it is already soft modded

if you were able to follow instructions to softmod your wii then i'm sure doing the usb/sd card method in this tutorial would be a piece of cake for you. the risk of bricking your wii is always there but it looks as though you have already done the hard part and took a chance. i suspect there will be a way to play from disk soon but i didn't wanna wait for it.
