    6) Open PPF-Patcher, choose the main.dol for input and the PPFf-Patch for your region, and klick apply.
    This is the patched main.dol that you can use for alt.dol-Loading. If you want to patch the ISO, read further.
    7) Back in WiiScrubber, search again for the main.dol, right klick -> Replace and select the patched main.dol
    THIS IS ONLY IF YOU HAVE A NON-MODIFIED RELEASE!!!!
    Little confused here. Read a lot of information, seems most don't apply to my situation? On a Wii 4.1u only wasabi dx (no soft mod) on 3.0 firmware, is the above what I need to do before I burn a NSMB iso? Or is it JUST FAIL for anyone with something like a WasabiDX that is not soft modded?

    Hmm....

    1. First-time posters are asked to please post an initial post in the Introductions Section of the Site (you know, as by the terms and conditions and site rules you so eaglerly accepted when joining?)
    2. Failure to identify what Sytem Menu version/region of Wii;
    3. Failure to identify what softmodding method (if any) used in terms of which wiihacks guide;
    4. Failure to identify version of cIOS aka IOS 249 (Rev 17 will work with NSMB; Rev 14 won't w/o extra work);
    5. Failure to identify how recent of a purchase this Wii was (new Wiis have D3-2 drives and won't play backups; is this a backup?)
    6. I'm sorry how does IOS 36 factor into this?

    Complete FAIL. If you're serious about needing help, you might want to try again.

    Other than that, I offer you the record fourth FAIL of the DAY image:

    legit copy of NSMB, not working, disc read error on NeoGamma.

    lOkay, I have looked around, trying to find how to fix this. I updated up to 4.2U hacked (via Waninkoko's patch), and followed this guide to try to make sure everything was correct: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus.html

    I've got a legit copy of NSMB, but when I try to run it through NeoGamma r7, I get a disc read error. I've tried searching on the forum, but anything I've run across was for burned discs. So, any help guys?

    Well, thing is, it keeps wanting to do a system update, even though I've done the hacked version of the update, so I'm not sure if that will mess things up or not.
