Make sure the ISO you're patching is named or renamed to the file the patcher is expecting (hint: right-click the batch and select edit to see the name it's expecting; so long as it's a full non-patched ISO, you should be able to rename it and then apply the patch successfully).

This is what my .bat file has when i click edit

    "imagePatch.exe qf-nsmbw_fixv2.iso.imageDiff qf-nsmbw.iso qf-nsmbw.fixedv2.iso"

    My iso is named "qf-nsmbw.iso"

Everything looks right to me? Am I missing something?

I installed the homebrew channel using the bannerbomb exploit, using a SD card. Then created an "apps" folder on the card and put the NeoGamma files in the apps folder. NeoGamma then showed up in the homebrew channel and I was able to run the game from the DVD.
@FreddieFish: I followed some articles and successfully installed the Homebrew Channel. Then I put the Neogamma (NeoGamme R7HBC) files under the apps folder as instructed on some other forum. I turned on the Wii, went to the Homebrew Channel, now I saw an icon for Neogamma, I click it and nothing happens but a black screen takes over... the only way of getting out is to press and hold the power button for 5 seconds... what am I doing wrong?

Yeah; you put the iso in same dir as the patch files, too if you hadn't tried that...

I downloaded the "[Wii]New_Super_Mario_Brothers[NTSC][Fixed to work with disc on s" torrent and burned it onto a CD. I used gamma .7, IOS249 (Rev 14) and it gave me "timeout." message when I launch the game.

I am using 3.2U. Is it because I did not install all the IOS I need? which IOS would I need?

If your computer is set for "hide extentions of known file types" in windows explorer, uncheck that box and then check your .iso to make sure it's named correctly.

I went out an bought the game! you have to admit, it is probably the easier option for this one, and its worth it too.
