Ok..... This is not working for me and VERY frustrating.
I have Drivekey and to get this game working I followed the guide for New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii so that I could use NeoGamma to run the game.
When I tried to load the game using NeoGamma R8Beta12. I get a green screen then back to the System Menu.
I tried loading the alternative SMNP01.dol as an alternative dol per previous posts but that was a no go. First, NeoGamma would report that SMNE01 (not SMNP01) is missing. So I renamed the SMNP01.dol to SMNE01.dol and though it did load the alternative dol, I still get a green screen and then it either freezes or it load the System Menu.
Can anyone help me please??????

I'm sure you can down load this file from the first couple pages. I think its down to which Iso version of the game you have you could try looking for another version of the iso.
One last think i'm using NeoGamma R8Beta 7 you could give that a go.
Hope this helps

When you start disc through Neogamma what is the file it reads from the disc?

I got the Nitro Pal release and it read game disc as SMNP01 and uses the alt.dol to run.
If your using the wrong game file and .dol simply renaming it will not work you need to get the right .dol for the game version you got

OK so the new update for running from disc talks about being an NTSC version, will this work on my PAL wii or is the a PAL fix available. Still had no luck getting this game to run.

i downloaded ios 53 now where do i put it and how do i install it, and is that it.
For USB-Loader Users:
-Try NeoGamma R8Beta12 or OpenWiiFlow, which both should be able to run the Game without any patches needed (Thanks to WiiPower!)
-Or put the fixed ISO on your Drive, using your Favorite Manager, and play it with any Loader
-Or use CFG-Loader and the Alt.dol Trick (rename the fixed .dol to SMNP.dol and place it under /usb-loader/. Then select Alt.dol from SD and play the game)
HAY I AM TRYING THIS BUT I AM VERY MUCH A NOOB AND NEED THING SPELLED OUT FOR ME.. I AM TRYING THE FIRST STEP, I D/L IOS 53-- NOW WHAT DO I DO WITH IT HOW DO I INSTALL IT, I HAVE THE CON FIG USB LOADER 1.5 SOFT MOD. (AND IS THIS THE ONLY STEP I HAVE TO DO)(IS THIS THE EASIEST AND BEST WAY OR SHOULD I DO A DIFFERET WAY)
PLEASE HELP...I WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATIVE OF ANY ADVICE SEEMS A LOT OF QUESTIONS ARE GOING UNANSWERED LATLY.

I've managed to get it working
Pathced the ISO file with the new(er) PROPER V2 patch.
Burnt it as usual.
Used the DOP-IOS (Marc version) to patch IOS 70 (cus I am on 4.2u) and IOS 53
And it runs from the disc channel. Voila!
Now I have somewhat an irrelevant question (Still related to NSMB), I am softmodding a friend's Wii now cus he has one of the new ones. I'm done with modding but now I can't find NeoGamma R8 B12 or 12 WAD file to install it as a channel. I have it on mine but seems that I've deleted the original WAD file and now I can't find the damn thing anywhere. If anyone can provide a link for a NeoGamma R8 B12 or 13 WAD file, it will be greatly appreciated
