Yes this is. To install homebrew on 4.2, click on Tutorials at the top (Home, Forums, Tutorials, UserCP, etc... - surprisingly one person I tried to help didn't what I meant) and follow the 4.2 homebrew instruction.

Hey thanks for the heads up. I already know how to run it, tried that tutorial on a friends LU64+ Wii and it worked like a charm

I like youtube instruction even though it's text. I never tried it so if someone does, let everyone else in the thread know if it really works. It tells you how to download all the files necessary.
Update: Sorry guys, go to the actual youtube site (link at the end of the video) to get his version of all the files necessary.

I had a older verison then this Qwiif one as i could not find a qwiif file with seeds and changed the name to qf-nsmbw and followed the info and the start of this post and everything is working great with no hickups as of yet in world 4-1

Nope. The game must be patched to run it on a usb loader. A 1:1 backup will not work. Heck you can just replace the patched main.dol and not even scrub it to get it to run on a usb loader.

If you have an unpatched ISO and need to patch it manually, you can try the instructions on page 1 or use my guide http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/30...ex-editor.html

Yes, Thank you. I just realized that wads are short cuts for the wii channel.

Read this thread.
The game needs internet connection to run? For anyone still having trouble, do you have internet connection on your Wii?
I turned off my Wifi and the game still runs via USB loader and the disc channel. False alarm.

well this may be a pointless question, but does anyone know how to apply the patch if they are on a mac?
