Yeah you would have to rename it to boot.dol, but as said it works fine.
The problem seems to lie with it struggling to connect to its servers to download your required program, give it some more goes and make sure you havent got any firewall setup on your router or other systems using your wireless.
After that id investigate through the software creators/website
...Hmm. cIOSCORP 3.5 fixed my problem, GH5 loads great. Thanks for your help, though =)
Thanks heaps mate, your the only one who made sense. I have been trying for 2 days to get Guitar Hero 5 to work on my softmod wii. You made it happen. The part on IOS 232 is what makes it all work. Thanks Again bro.
Glad i could help mate. I did the same and only got the above from trial and error - every other guide i read contadicted itself or wasnt specific enough.
I have a problem!
AFter having installed the first wad using wad manager 1.4, i go to multicios install, it boots and all that. But then I cannot select ios 232. It stays stuck at 249. i go to install with 37, but the most right, stays at 249.
My wii is version 4.1
And I donīt know how to fix it.
Please help me.
have original band hero and not original guitar hero 5.did the tut but only way to make both work was to change setting on Data.Load_requested_IOS to enable.otherwise just black screen on both.now after doing that and exiting then trying again with Data.Load_requested_IOS to disable it doesnt work so i can only conclude it doesnt overwrite my fake iso 56 because that is the one that enabled loads.
Ive only tested the above using guitar hero 5 - i dont have any answers for band hero as i havent downloaded it.
Post 2. Iīve ran into another problem >: (!
When I try to install ios 232 It installs everything fine, but at the end it says install returned -1. Kinda sux, because when I load Softchip then, it won't let me select ios 232? Please help me out.
HOW TO SOLVE net_connect failed Error making http request
There's a txt file at multi_cios_installer0.24.zip. There, you find instruction about downloading every single file to install ios37. In that case, you can read all from sd, instead of using network connection. Must remember to put the files In this folder on your sd card: /00000001/00000025/v2070/
