Hi I have had a wii for about 2 years and only this weekend soft modded it successfully

Playing games fine etc except for one SSX Blur - it seems to load up fine but once it gets to the wii remote warning screen about wearing the strap my wii freezes and screen goes black and remote switches off. Playing on a PAL system but have played some other NTSC games on it no problem Any ideas?

Also was wondering if you could recommend me some games as I haven't played on my wii in months. Looking for really good online games and also good party type games (Like wii sports, wario smooth moves etc) that my friends can play when they pop round without much explaining?
