a few questions about bricking and how i can avoid it
hey guys i had my wii modded a while back, shortly after the US release of metroid prime 3 and ended up giving the wii a long break i'm now getting back into it had have a few backups i'd like to burn on to dvds and play on the wii. resently however i noticed my wii trying to update itself giving me a message saying "this update may cause consoles with modifications to stop working" or something around that line and i was wondering if that will brick my wii or not.

Also i have a few other games such as trauma center: new blood, manhunt 2, and super mario galaxy (all in the same format as my wii) and was wondering if the software updates it makes you do will brick my system or not i would really appreciate any help given as i love my wii and would hate to see it crap out like that.

Use WII brickblocker on EVERY ISO you download...it disables the UPDATE portion of the DVD that ALL games have

What is the update doing? Does everygame have the update partition to make the wii update itself? What is being updated?
