Secret of Mana on Wii?

Is it possible?
I would appreciate any shared knowledge.

other than requesting it from nintendo to release on the virtual console.

I doubt any good square soft game will be released on the virtual console yet... Maybe soon if the virtual console makes good sales they may think about it. They have recently released updated versions of the games...

But I think Secret of Mana could be an exception, I would suggest writing nintendo an e-mail.

(Though they say you can run emulator on the wii with a mod chip and an sd card... if thats what you were hoping for I believe snes9x has a version for wii, if thats what your into...)

Grab a bittorrent application and go to
[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
I beleive what you can do is download this (is has secret of mana on it), burn it to a cd/dvd, and play it on a modded wii.
Im not totally sure about this, but thats how I believe it works...

Any suggestions for modchips?

I would just want an easy install and I don't really want anything besides the emulator+rom compatibility.

Thanks for the help.

SoM on the wii would be awesome, as you could react a little more than usual. [God I hope the games don't come out first person like Oblivion hate dat stuff]. I wanna order a mod chip too eventually e-e; but I'll break my Wii XDD.

Ever try Secret of Evermore for SNES... it was cool too...
I cant remember totally but I there was a collection system where you would have to combine stuff to make weapons or items i think. Also there was a cool market where you had to trade stuff, I remember enjoying that game alot. It was quite like secret of mana.
Though I dont think it was the same, and I havent seen any sequels, I dont think it actually did all that well.
But I enjoyed it!
