    ISO Size diffrence NTSC-PAL

Hey there, I am curious as to why there are such size discrepancies between PAL and NTSC releases for SSBB.

Preforming a search on some sties give me varying Iso sizes.

These sit around the 8gb, 4gb, and 2gb sizes.

The NTSC versions seem to be 8gb, Pal versions 4gb and scrubbed at 2gb.

Now I understand different rips will have different sizes depending on how they were ripped, and scrubbed releases will be a bare bones version, but why is the Pal version of this game half the size of the NTSC one?

it is not the pal, it is half game. BC SSBB is 9 gigs, some guys have removed the videos and it can fit on a 4.7gb DVD, so you dont have to use DL discs.

You can get different versions of this game. You can get a dvd5 version which is a single layer game (4.37GB 4,699,979,776 bytes), you can get a dvd9 version which is a dual layer game (7.92GB 8,511,160,320 bytes) or a scrubbed version which will look much smaller when downloaded but you use winrar to extract it which will turn it into one of the file sizes above.
