    Us Got it partially working

I loaded the backup I downloaded using USB loader GX v848. Settings are as follows: 002 fix YES, Force Pal50 Also Force Pal60 IOS249,222 & 223. It comes up black and white....BUT,you can't see the bottom of the screen when the game is in play. That I believe is where your letter tiles are. If I put it on Force NTSC, I get a green screen, such a I do right before a GOOD game loads. I have the latest hermes 222 v4 , IOS249 rev14. I am pretty sure thats correct...lol . I can't really remember ALL the things I installed, and I don't have the thing that tells you the titles on your wii, on my card...I even forget what it's called. I'm sure one of you guys got it to load B&W like me but just didn't post it. I await any response with further tips to get this to load. Oh yeah....this is the name of the file I downloaded _WII_Scrabble_Interactive__PAL__ESPALWII_com__rar

FWIW, Scrabble works like a charm on the impressive Dolphin emu - so the dump IS good. . .

    Hmm. . .

    How to Play Scrabble

Do the latest Guide to softmod any Wii -Use CFG USB Loader - Set your backup of Scrabble to 248 - block reload of ios - video is game default and enable 002 fix - game runs fine. Exiting Game may require reboot.

Hey glad to hear that you got it working on your machine, but are you sure you don't have a PAL Wii or something? Because it definitely does not work on mine.

Anyone else have any ideas? I have an NTSC machine moded with the MauiFrog guide and running CFG Loader. All other PAL games run fine, but this one will not. It seems to be a good rip, because it does run....meaning I can hear it running. I hear the music start and the Wiimote rumbles occasionally when I point it at the screen. So the game is running, and responding to the Wiimote....but no video...just blackness. I've tried every setting I can think of in CFG Loader. The game won't load at all if you use System Pref for video mode (NTSC)....it just goes to a black screen and locks up. It will run if you do Game Pref (PAL), but like I said, no video. Also, if it helps, once it is running (audio only) if I hit the Home button, and then pan around the screen until I click the proper spot for returning to the System Menu, instead of closing out and returning the box locks up.

I wish I could rip my copy of the game, but it's too scratched...turned into a coaster after I bricked my PAL box (works good...no moisture rings on the desk). But like I said I think the rip must be pretty good in that at least it is running.

This thread is very old, but I haven't found any new threads that have solution to the problem. Someone must have figured this thing out by now. Its just Scrabble for crying out loud! Please post if you have any suggestions. Thanks everyone!
