Error #002 when starting Guitar Hero 5

The story goes like this. I bought my Wii in Singapore with Wii Backup Loader and Homebrew already installed. Everything has worked just fine until I now bought Guitar Hero 5 here in Sweden. I get a blue screen and an Error #002 message. Is this a region problem? I have read through a lot of information here in the forum about IOS and ISO and Wads until my head spins
Any ideas what I should do?

Error 002 means that your wii is missing IOS38, IOS53, IOS55. Simply download, unzip and install via wad manager. Get Them Here:

Use Neogamma r7 and use one of the 002 fix options within to launch your game. Neogamma can be used as HBC app or as a channel.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Since I am rather new to this I could use some more help. I have downloaded IOS38, IOS53, IOS55 unzipped them and put them on the SD card. Then what? How do I install the Wad Manager? Via Homebrew? When I start Homebrew nothing happens. Just the bubbles and nothing else. What is suppose to happen when I start it?

The Homebrew Channel looks at the SD card (or USB Device) and queries within the apps folder for folders that contain a boot.dol (or boot.elf) file.

So if you wish to run Wad manager you would take it's files and create a folder structure thus:-

    sd:\apps\wadmanager1.5\boot.dol

Other apps might have a folder structure of:-

    sd:\apps\dop-ios\boot.dol
    sd:\apps\mplayer_ce\boot.dol

There may be other files that come packaged with your applications, these can also reside in the same folder within apps.

Installing wad files is simply a matter of placing them in a wad folder i.e. sd:\wad and using wad manager to install them.

    Hope that helps

I have now tried to install Wad Manager but I got the message ERROR ret=-1 when doing so.
I now have a structure that looks like this:
    usb:\apps\wadmanager\boot.dol
    usb:\wad\IOS38-64-v3609.wad
    IOS53-64-v4113.wad
    IOS55-64-v4633.wad

I have also tried to load the game through NeoGamma and turning on the 002 error fix in the options menu. I then don't get a Error 002 message but only a black screen.
    What should I do now?

Error ret-1 means that your device isn't formatted to FAT32 properly. Reformat. Also all the wad files should be in the folder called WAD

The USB Memory stick that I'm using is formatted to FAT32 but still the ret -1 error message.
I have also installed IOS56-64-v5146.wad and all four are placed under Wad and it still doesn't work.
    Any more ideas?

Latest events... I gave up on the Memory stick and moved the files to a SD Card that I formated to FAT32. Success in installing the four wads! But I still get the Error 002 message when I try to start the game via Wiigator Backup Launcher 0.3.
What could then be the problem?

Regards from a girl who spent all Sunday on this...
