I'm having the same problem with NTSC and PAL versions and even when burnt on DVD. Anyone got any ideas?
I'm having the exact same problem with dead space. I initially tried running it from a designated WBFS HD and when that didn't work, I tried burning the iso, but both times the result was the same.![]()

did a NTSC Burn, loaded with NeoGamma 7 and did the CIOS update. CIOS errors on 38 so i installed as custom (249 i think) still nothing... gona try the PAL and see if i can get it running. you can turn subtitles on but its just not the same.
I had the same problem running the game with Neogamma, this is what i did. I guess you guys are playing the patched version of the game for error 003, so i just used an older version of Softchip instead of Neogamma and problem solved!!!! the sound was back on.
Been playing my PAL copy of this on my PAL Wii with no problems and it works flawlessly.![]()

What settings/ios for SoftChip99 are you using? I tried it too and still get no sound after the intro in SoftChip99 ir Neogamma r7 or r8.
I tried r99 and 4 other different versions...didn't change anything.
is this the ICON release everyone is having a problem with?
guess I'll try getting a different rip in the meantime since no one seems to have a fix for this just yet.
Yes my issue is with ICON release and I have tried softchip99 and no luck either on my NTSC wii.
using CIOS 38 r14, installed as 249... set Softchip to that and turned on "error 2 patch" i think it applies to this game. mine is also the ICON release, so at least it wasnt a complete waste of bandwidth.Originally Posted by wurob [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
