do you have to have this wiimote extra in order to play the games that use it such as sports resort and tiger woods?

I am currently playing Punch-out, Virtua Tennis 2009 and Tiger Wood Golf 2010 and you can play these games even without a wii motion plus. However, with a wii-motion plus, it really gives you that one-to-one feeling, your motion is really captured real time. Without the wii motion plus, there is this slight-second delay. I really like wii-motion plus
