Well actually its just the "Guitar Hero DLC Gen 2 (GH5)" wad file (possibly in conjunction with your savegame) that causing issues, so ghwt content will download along with any of the special offers imports. The pc tools still work downloading it, so the store isn't really necessary, it's just an irritance, hopefully a temporary one.

My Wii has a modchip in it but I also did the Softmod guide by Dogeggs to un-semi-brick my Wii. So my 4.1J console now has HBC, Neogamma and PriiLoader, cIOS38 r17 and the 4 WADs that Dogeggs told us to install to get newer games to work (IOS38-64-v3867, IOS50-64-v4889, IOS53-64-v5406, IOS55-64-v5406).

However, when I put in my RB: Lego and RB: Beatles and Band Hero CDs that I burnt.... all I get is the title with music and then I press "start" but then the screen goes black and the remotes become unresponsive and I have to turn off the Wii from the powerpoint altogether.

I don't think I have done anything wrong in the Dogeggs tutorial.... as I followed it word for word. I also installed some other IOS (such as IOS55-64-v4633 using Tealc's list) using NUSD to download and WADmanager to get them into Wii but I still get that black screen.

I have tried running the DVD from neogamma but I didn't change any of the options (as i don't know which ones to change) and I still get the same problem.

Some other info ( I hope these maybe helpful by providing additional info)... I burnt the disks at 1x speed using Imgburn...so I don't think that is the cause of the problems. I don't use a HDD to load my games. My instrument set is the Logitech one... but I don't even know whether they work or not since I can even get more recent music games to work on my Wii. The only burnt music game that works is GH: Aerosmith, which is fine to run and the guitar is reponsive... but I would like to play a game where I can play the drums as well.

Thanks for any assistance. I am getting frustrated... maybe I just need a brother or boyfriend who is a hacker . If you require any other info about my Wii then I can provide these.
Have you installed either IOS56 or cIOS56? You would have gotten the latter from the optional section of Dogeggs' Tutorial. Most of the music games using a USB instrument require IOS56. Also, you have been posting your question multiple times around the Forum-against site rules. Post one time in the most correct forum, please. Also, you appear to have multiple accounts-please explain or you may be banned. If there is a reasonable explanation, please provide ASAP.

With regard to your DVD burns-the slow speed may actually be introducing artifactual errors. With the modern DVD burners and higher rated disc speeds, the sweet spot is 2X or 4X. Use ImgBurn to burn your game backups to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R blanks, try at 4X first then 2X if the 4X fails.

Last, as you have little patience with reading and learning about softmodding ( preferring to have a man do it for you), I understand you softmodded only to get out of a problem. You can revert to using the chip, the benefit of a chipmodded Wii is no thought is required-just stick the disc in and accept whatever it says. Just stay under system menu 4.2 if you play out-of-region games as you probably do owning a "J" Wii. Currently the only game installing system menu 4.2 is Endless Ocean 2-stay clear of that.

Incidentally, being a girl has nothing to do with being a noob, following rules, or being able to read guides and tutorials. Most of the members here are indeed male and they too show their inexperience-all of this stuff is new to everyone when we start. Stop pulling out the girl card when asking for help as it raises suspicions due to your multiple account registration-one account is male. ASAP-explain the multiple accounts if possible as all user accounts or that address may be banned very soon.

    I've a 4.2e sofmodded Wii (white) PAL.

I'm running GH5 from USB with ULoader IOS223. I've installed DLC songs(PAL) according to guides (first song.wad then titles.wad) with OneUP GH WAD Manager.
GH5 sees the songs on Wii Memory and I've moved them to SD Card. I can't play them in Quickplay Mode. It says I need GHWT Free Add-on Update.
I click on Music Store. After saying checking for updates it gives the classical error and quits to main game menu.
I removed the SD Card and re-enter the Music store and it launched after a few minutes.
I've then clicked the GHWT Update (Ver.2). And it says I've got no add-on that requires this update.
Then I've inserted the SD Card again (which includes DLC songs), and then I've started to download the update.

The problem is: It's constantly saying "downloading" and then "moving to SD". It's been nearly an hour and it still does the same thing again and again! What is it doing? I only have 2 DLC songs on my SD; and none on wii memory. At the end It says that an unexpected arror has been occured witht he SD Card. It's a fully optional 2Gb SanDisc (Type2).

What should I do to run the DLC Songs?

Also I've the original GH5 Disc. But it's not working after the softmod. It says Wii needs a system update. So I've made an image with ULoader and its working from USB. How can I make my original copy to work?

    Thanks.

Those are out of date files in that link, look around Wiihacks for more up to date files.

Are you trying to load GH5 from disc or usb loader?

Everything I needed was in there. I also used this guide to play Band Hero from a DVD.
Inside the zip it has instructions too, practically the same as the OP
