Success - without having to install IOS56
I already had Softchip set up properly, in order to run RB1 (IOS 232 etc.).

I used cIOSCORP 3.4 and Guitar Hero 5 works perfect. I have a question, though. Whenever I go online, there aren't players. One time I played online in Quick Play, but in all the other modes the game can't find players to play with. That can't be right, I guess (because this game is pretty popular). Is this because of all the custom cIOSes? Is there a way I can fix this. Thank you very much.
BTW, I am on System Menu 4.0E

Hmmm this is weird. Whatever happened to get GH5 to work for me also fixed my other problem of me having to restart my wii after I played any game off my USB drive. Now if only there could be a way to fix the no-usb peripheral problem dealing with USB loaders.

I recently re-formatted my HDD and installed GH5 again. I am currently using USBLoader GX r807 with anti-002 fix set to ON and IOS249 as what it will load under. Works perfect and even connects to WiFi.

Mine loads of the main disc channel off my soft mod using a dvd-r, but when I press a button to get to the main menu it either freezes on the crowd or it says the disc could not be read. Please refer to the wii operations manual for details.
If I press blue to play now I can rock out to the tunes, strange

shanepelican that's not strange, that looks like a bad burn (bad media or was burned too fast).
You know same thing happened to me with Guitar Hero Smash Hits and other games I got tired of that shit and then I went to USB. All my games in a HDD and they work flawlessly. No more "Disc could not be read" problems.

"2. Download and run multicios, and install IOS 37 as IOS 232."
I don't know which file to download...
Is using softchip required? I'd like to use USB Loader GX just to keep more things organized.
