free guitar hero : world tour songs?
is there a hack that would allow me to download the songs online for free? i tried the search but nothing came up that could help me?

You are talking about the Guitar Hero DLC Loader, i think you just put the wads of the DLCs somewhere on your sd card and using the DLC Loader you should be able to install them so you have all the songs you want. Just google Guitar Hero DLC Loader, you might find it.
