I am about to take the dive into the... rock(?) genre. Right now GameStop is offering the guitar+drum+mic+game for GH for $99, and Sears is doing the same for RB2. The defining factor was going to be compatibility with the upcoming Beatles game. Both claim to be fully compatible (at least according to a chart Harmonix released through Kotaku). Sooooo, I guess it comes down to... I don't know. That's where the good people at Wiihacks come into. I guess I should add that selection-wise, I would take variety over tons and tons of hard(er) rock. Pennies for your thoughts!

I personally like the song lists in GH I have the world tour band set... I got it at game stop for $99. I know that I can use my instruments on RB2, but if you wanted to use RB2 band set with GH you have to jump through a lot of hoops.

So here's my 2 cents get GHWT!! When you get tired get RB2 you'll see the difference but enjoy the best of both worlds.

I bought GHWT tour because WT instruments can be used with RB2 (and all upcoming GH and RB games) but not vice versa. However, RB2 has a much better song selection if you intend on buying downloadable content. You can buy GHWT band bundle, then RB2 game only, then extra RB songs and you are all set!

Double Agreed - Plus I believe that Beatles in being released by the GH folks, and they are really good at ensuring backwards compatibility (old guitar / new guitar).

I have both games and Rockband 2 is a better game, but the guitar hero instruments are better. So i would say get the world tour band pack and the get rockband 2 if you want to and just use the world tour instrument, seeing as the rb instruments are not compatible with guitar hero games.
