That's why I asked if you need to run Wii BrickBlocker if you play out of region games...

Of course you don't have to run it if the game is the same region as your Wii...

Hi when you say "plays a little bit" do you actually start the game? Or does the screen go black when you click start and your machine freezes. Also seeing what serial number you have on your wii may give you a better idea as to which chip you may have. There is a table somewhere (check posts on this site) which shoes the type of chip for relevant Wii serial numbers.

god luck

If it really does load and you can actually play a little before it stops working, then it might just be the disc/program you're using.

I burned my SMG with Verbatim DVD-Rs using ImgBurn at the burn speed of 4x, and it's working perfect for me now.

Yeah the game starts and about 2mins in ( when bowzer starts taking the princess ) it just freezes, no buttons work at all so have to turn the Wii at the power .

a nintendo wii tracker site said that i more then likely have drive chip GC2-D2B and my drive pins are most likely cut ..

I orignally thought that it might be that but when i started looking into wii modding and so on ( which was only the other day ) there seemed to be loads of differant problems with SMG, i dont burn them myself so not sure how the disc's were done but all the other games worked fine so i sort of rule that out.
