    Brawl hacks: general questions

I googled brawl hacks and all it gave me was a bunch of videos, nothing showing how to do it, or even better; if possible to make, and if so, where to find pre-made brawl hacks/mods, and how to apply said hacks.

I'm not certain if this has been discussed here or not, but if it has I'd appreciate a link and a lock... otherwise, I'd like discussion to take place here, as well as help on the following things:

    1. If there are pre-made brawl hacks and mods or not
    2. How, if even possible, to apply said hacks or mods to a brawl iso file (to be read from either usb or from a CD-R disk)
    3. If the above two are possible, sites from which I may get brawl hacks
    4. Whether the above is possible or not, discussion of brawl hack possibilities, and maybe some sites dedicated to brawl hacking/modding.

    edit:
And one more question... is it possible to use ocarina with ULoader?

Basically, you just find the right codes for Brawl and set them up on the PC Ocarina then you put them on your SD Card, so no as of now you cannot add mods to your Brawl ISO and you can call these Ocarina codes Premade. I dont know of any sites that are dedicated to this but you can try searching the forum for Ocarina Codes

    there is brawl +

thats a mod of brawl, fairly decient in most standards but its ment for tourny people, the game has several changes but its at least worth a try.

you can find it here: brawlplus.net

you might also want to try somthing like ultimate usb loader (thats what im currently using and it works great) although brawl + has to use the usb gecko for homebrew, because the codelist is too large.
Blades will bleed, Shields will shatter, But as the light fades... will the hero rise again? Or will darkness reign?

    klnva,
I see your problem, i hope this isnt too late but ive been searching for how to mod iso files, i came across this thread and these responses really annoyed me!
To answer your question, there are various ways to mod brawl files and such. not simply loading other peoples codes through gecko and homebrew.

To do it all yourself, you need to get USBLoader, and extract the brawl disk image to a WBFS formatted drive(which the wii formats itself) and then you use the WBFS Manager to copy it onto your computer as an iso file. From there you use Wii scrubber to extract and replace the files. Texture files are located in Partition2 in the fighters folder, where there are several files for eacjh character. extract a .pcs file, use BrawlBox to extract the tga files from it, edit the tgas, put them back into the pcs, put the pcs onto your sd card in the right folder and use a file replacement code, or put them back into the iso and load the game throught usb loader.

A good idea would be to download Brawl+ from brawlplus.net and use their folder setup for help understanding the sd cards.
Check out GBATemp.net or Smashboards.com, or wiibrew.org, for details on anything mentioned previously. Sorry if this was way too late and you dont care anymore but it makes me feel good to know that i was able to respond lol and that if you are still searching, or gave up and might try again, that you wont just sit there staring at the horrible posts previously.

Vahkiti, maybe this isnt too late for you?

BTW, a great site for brawl texture hacks of all kinds is kc-mm.com, i have a good friend who is a member of the team and they do very well with their projects.

I figured it out long ago. Just use the file replacement code and it applys to everything.
