the game is only for pal. developed by keen games.

its a warcraft/age of empires type game. I feel like the only american with this frickin awesome game!!!!

I wouldn't call it WC or AoE at all. It's a dumbed down Civ game.

And you aren't the only american with it. It's been out in the US since June 23rd as Dawn of Discovery.

I'll stick with Age of Mythology on PC as my favorite RTS

Then again, I haven't played Halo Wars...

As for RTS, I always like C&C RA line. But Civ4 is way more of a time sink. And since Anoo/DoD is a cartoony version, it too by proxy.

Hey folks,
Can any of you tell me what you're running Anno with. I am having a hell of a time getting it to run. I get to the in game title screen but then it says disc read error. I've tried both NTSC and Pal versions. I'm using the same discs as always and never had problems with them before.
Running Neogamma 7 RC 4 and Cios Rev14 on waninkokos 4.1U.

igot6 i usb usbloader think i had to turn the #002 fix on but it works great!

use a usb loader, no read errors then. Is Anno the only game of its type available on the Wii?

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunatly I don't think its going to be that easy.

I've tried the 002 fix thing, in both Neogamma 6 and in Softchip. I also tried it in NG 7 and some other previous versions. I'm running CIOS rev 14, tried a few previous versions of that too. Installed Preloader 0.29, tried a bunch of the hacks. Installed CIOSCORP 3.2 and tried to load it that way. I tried both NTSC and Pal versions of the game. Nothing seems to work! It just stops at the in game loadscreen and give disc read error. It won't load in the disc channel with cioscorp either. Same discs as always and never a problem like this before. All this on on 4.1U, waninkoko update.

Everything else works just fine. I've never had a problem like this before. Am I missing a wad or something maybe?
