Mario Strikers Charge PAL on NTSC - Wiihacks

I just finished the download of Mario Strikers PAL version. I have wiikey and I have the newest firmware (found on NTSC Metroid Prime 3 disc). When I put my Mario Strikers disc in it asks to update the firmware. I SHOULD already have the newest NTSC firware, and have heard that any other version on an NTSC system will brick it? What should I do? I should be able to play any region backup without issues... or so I thought!

it's true you have the newest firmware but if it's asking to update I would highly recommend not doing it because it could change some stuff and brick your wii. I would recommend patching the iso file and reburning it. Running an unpatched game is something I will not do if it's not my region.

wii brick blocker. Don't use an import without it!

I always seem to end up with a black screen when ever i use brick blocker

Wow dude, i think you bricked your wii.

If i am correct, you need to usee Regionfree and wiibrickblocker, i don;t have the links.

how do you know what games you need brick block and regionfree. . .brickblocker is used on all games nomatter where they are from, if you are in the U.S. you use regionfree then brickblocker.

I have no idea what you can do with a bricked wii. . .maybe buy a new one.

I didn't brick my Wii... been working with all games, no problems... what makes you think I bricked it, I said nothing of the sort!

Sorry to double post. . .but i left things out.

!!INSTRUCTIONS FOR IMPORT WII GAMES!!

Step 1// Download an .ISO of a Wii game.

Step 2// Run RegionFree.

Step 3// Run WiiBrickBlocker.

Step 4// Burn to a blank 4.7gb DVD (I Use DVD+R {Although i am in Australia and don't know if it is any different}).

Step 4// I always turn my Wii off before inserting it (Reason i do is if i don't sometime i get "Disk Read Error" might not be much but kinda scary)

!!NOTE!!

WiiBrickBlocker is used on ever Wii game. . .WiiBrickBlocker is NOT used on GC games. (I do not know if RegionFree is used on Imported GC games though)

can't get brick blocker to work.... comes up with a bunch of errors, where did you get yours from?

your safe if you have an updated wii(3.0x). the only game known to brick settings(despite having an up to date firmware) is pokemon afaik
