Either IGN or 1up have now played the Japanese version of TP for the gamecube and report that it's exactly the same as the Wii version (except for the controls obviously).

Which means that, as good as TP looks, it is possible to go beyond that still with games developed specifically for the Wii from the start.

Yay! As if TP's graphics aren't gorgeous enough already.

That's great news for both the GC and the WII. If developers try hard enough they can still squeeze some life out of the GC's CPU. I am also glad because I have read some reviews where they dont' exactly gloat about the graphics for Zelda on the Wii.

It's supposed to be out now for GC has anyone heard of anybody finding it? Pre order people got it maybe?

I liked the graphic for TP, to me they seemed about the same as an xbox. At least what i would expect, much less glitchy then that 64 games, nice and smooth most of the time.

All the screenshots I have seen look great, I can't wait to play this.

Windwaker seemed so silly I am quite pleased they made it look more realistic like OOT.

    Yay for Zelda!

I just finished beating Zelda TP a few days ago, and I must say it was one of the better games I've played in quite a while. Graphicaly I thought the game was beautiful, and the water in the game is simply gorgeous! The only really noticeable downfall in the graphics are when it comes to the ground and surface levels which can often seem 'blotchy'. Yet the innovation with the wiimote more than makes up for any shortages in the graphics. In my opinion, its the best Zelda yet!

This game, OOT, and MM are the only Zeldas i played, i was never into the GB versions or the GC one too cartoony.

I really liked how this game came out, it took a while and they even made tie ins to the older games with characters and stuff. Most of all i like the fact that you are not playing link but more of a descendant of link's..

OOT and MM are what really got me going. The SNES version not so much but it was amusing for a while. Never played the GC versions though...
