USB Microphones don't work now

I had a problem trying to run COD:Black Ops on my 4.3U softmodded black console (all other games I had worked perfectly) in that it would only show the "Loading...." message and stay there. I followed instructions on changing the IOS for it and finally was able to get the game to load. That was a month ago. Now, when I tried to run any of my music games (Band Hero Beatles, Karaoke Revolution, etc.) it does not "see" the USB mikes even though they are plugged in. They used to work before but don't now. How do I restore their function? Do I change the IOS/cIOS back to whatever they were originally? I don't care if Black Ops doesn't work anymore because I've lost all my other games that use the microphones. How do I go about it? Thanks!

p.s. I don't know what the defaults were on the setups. I also did upgrade the USB Loader GX to the newer version 2.3r1123; I was running an older version. I do have Priiloader and such on it as well. Thank you!

Thanks for the ideas; I got it resolved (decided to dump COD Black Ops; wasn't THAT important) by removing IOS 250, which is what I used to get it to work. After dumping it, all the mics worked in all of the games that use them. Thanks again!
