This is a guide to Wii games, suggested by our members and other sources, as being suitable for children. Games will be added as members add suggestions. Make sure to search for and read a game description or perhaps a game review before purchase as only you will know what will both interest your child and be within your child's visual-motor skill abilities.

Games for children under 4 years old

Games for children 4-6 years old

Games for children 6-10 years old

NOTE: As with lists of this type, it should be evident and understood that the age-group classifications are suggestions only. Few Wii games provide a specific age recommendation. As previously stated, try to read the game description or a review of the game to better select games appropriate to your own child's abilities and interests.

    Running list of children's games

Does anyone have a running list, maybe a sticky?, of kids games?
I have a four, almost, five year old and would like to look for more games
    that she could enjoy.

Also, is there a game manual repository out there? Maybe in pdf form?

    Thanks.

EDIT: Upon the basis of this member request, a running list of Wii games suggested by our members as being suitable for children has been created. See Post #1-games suggested by members will be added to this post over time.

Maybe you should consider purchasing the games if you need a manual that badly.

Having multiple children in a house keeping manuals in the house is sometimes a challenge.
I have and will continue to purchase games however, as I have already experienced kids will be kids and sometimes you need a replacement manual.

In this Forum is a thread identifying some games that feature animals or pets. Take a look and maybe one will look interesting for your 4-year-old little one.

At least having the kids lose game manuals doesn't cost you anything...unlike those lost library books, school books, and jackets

Nintendo has a number of game manual replacements as PDF downloads HERE. You might also try replacementdocs.com.

My kids really enjoyed new Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario galaxy and Tory Story 3 just to name a few. They are right around the age of yours. They don't have to be able to do everything in the game and might require help from time to time but thats what I'm here for (all though my 6 year old can beet Bowser in NSMB ).

My 4 year old (well almost 4) really enjoys NSMBW, Toy Story 3, and cooking mama. He is surprisingly good at NSMBW...
