Super Mario Galaxy: Best galaxy to find alot of starbits?

So i am still playing this fine piece of gaming, amazing game and i got SMG2 lying in front of me, i just want to finish the first one first. So i got all the normal galaxies opened up and got all of the normal stars (the secret ones and such not included) but i still got several hungry Lumas left which require LOTS of starbits.

I really do want to see the galaxies i have yet to discover by feeding the Lumas. I just need a good galaxy to earn starbits quickly, and alot. Where would that be?

Been such a long time since I played that one.

You can get a shed load from the Sling Pod Galaxy? You should be able to get 900+ from there. Can't recall how you get to it but a simple search of Google should help you along the way.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

"If you have over 400 starbits, go to the fountain and talk to the pink luma. Feed her 400 and visit the Sling Pod Galaxy. There is a LOT. But, you need to have very good aim or you will die. Just keep on grabbing the star bits until you have a decent amount, then get the star. ( I got like 800 before I got the star)"

Hi. We play this game from the backed up version on my hard drive. But every time we start it, it goes back to the beginning, rather than to the last saved point. Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you have pal version and your wii is ntsc or reversal it might not save game (happens 1%) save it your sd card

Can you explane how? The Wii doesn't save or load to or from an SD card so what you are suggesting is impossible. You can transfer saves to and from the Wii's NAND to a SD card but that's it.
