    @Billy, its still a work in progress. I am going to scrap the 3 socket rca and just keep in the single for composite video. I have been using solidly for over a month now, and I can't imagine going back to the av cables. The wifi antenna upgrade has made a serious difference. I can get signal I never dreamed of before. Still haven't found the best design for a case yet though.

    sounds you're making some smart progress.
    mini-jacks should be applied, isn't it?
    if a 'modified' case be used, i would like to "embed" a 2.5" usbhdd (i.e. a cut-out on the plastic cover to accommondate the hdd ?).

    i have some ideas...................

    1) this thingy: VD-W3 Wii HDMI Upscaler Processor Review | WiiChat
    2) nintendo's usb lan adaptor
    3)usb poered fan?
    4)usb hub......maybe 4 ports
    and i have an idea for the case.........for easy acsess just have the top flip up with a couple clips so it doesnt flap evywere

    also after you finish prototyping ill buy a secondary one from you on ebay (i dont like buying from anything but) for like 50$

    Does the headphone output have an amplifier? I ask because headphones can be easily damaged when connected directly to the line-output. Headphones will act as a highpass when connecting to the line-out so you will lose some bass.
