Can I reset my Wii to factory default?

Okay, so I grabbed my Wii off a friend near the end of '10, and it was un-modded. Like, 4.2E or something, I can't remember. I did mod it, got uLoader working, I have homebrew channel and I remember I got through all the scary iOS stuff that was meant to brick my Wii if done wrong... I think... but the thing is, I haven't touched it since then. Lost the SD Card that I used to use. So, now I've got a Wii with uLoader (That I still have to test), and no idea how to do anything. I'm keen to read the tutorials and all, but not knowing how far my Wii is hacked and what versions and such... I would be much more comfortable if I could start from scratch

So, people, is there a way to undo everything I've done so far? Not knowing exactly what I HAVE done so far?

Thank you. Even if I don't do this, I'll feel so much better knowing that I can do it

I am in a similar position

I am in a similar position and I am not at all technically minded. Does anyone happen to know if I did a Wii updated, would it brick my Wii, or would it get rid of the softmod?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

Just don't update your Wii. At all. It's not needed
