Help Setting up Wiiflow as a Channel

Hi, noob here. I'm trying to mod/hack my wii and end up with wiiflow (or USB Loader GX) installed as a channel and working the way it's supposed to.

So far, I've got homebrew channel and bootmii installed, but am not sure what to do next. I've read about 10 different guides and have gotten 10 different sets of instructions.

I have a Buffalo USB hard drive that I want to use and I think I've got it partitioned and formatted properly.

FYI, I have version 4.3U on my Wii.

    Do I follow these steps:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

and then these to install wiiflow?

    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...-settings.html

Some of the guides seem to be written to run everything from a USB thumb drive or the SD card, so it gets a little confusing to know if I need to do something different to get the hard drive to work.

I'm looking for something easy to follow. If USB Loader GX is a better way to go, that's OK with me. I'm trying to set this up for my kids for Christmas, and the graphical interface looks really cool.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

You need to make an intro post in the intro section.. ..

anywhooooo just follow the first link you listed.. there is an app pack at the end with a few loaders in it that work great.

after all that you decide if you want a wbfs/fat32/ or ntfs formatted harddrive.. we have guide for all three... I prefer FAT32

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

Thanks. FYI, I did make the intro post.

I did the small partition FAT32/big partition WBFS hard drive but I'm not far along enough that I can't wipe it and start over. I read somewhere that this was the best way to go.

I would go full one way or another... FAT32 can store almost anything the only downside is that files larger than 4gb need to be split.. BUT! if you rip the games onto it from original disk the loader does it for you.
