    Save Game Deleter

Wii Save game memory fills up pretty rapidly. Specially when a big chunk of it's occupied by your softmod. I was looking for a way to clear out savegame memory as there are a lot of savegames which I've either sold on or whose disks no longer work, for example.

Has no-one written a savegame deleter, yet where we can go in and put a checkbox beside the savegames we wish to delete and hit the button?

I've looked at savegame manager and I think the way to do this is to extract (to my SD) the few regularly used game data blocks, then use the "delete all" function, then import the savegames back in.

Can anyone confirm if this is the best / only option?

I'm guessing (software engineer hat on) that the savegames like to use contiguous memory and don't like gaps? Is this why the Wii takes so blasted long to delete one game regardless it size?

Why not just delete them through the Wii settings?

Each one takes an age. Regardless of the number of blocks it occupies. I got so frustrated with it last night, that I just deleted anything occupying more than 10 blocks. It was actually time saving to open each one individually and assess whether it was worth pressing the delete button!
