So my buddy gave me his Wii to update and get him all the latest and greatest. His was the second Wii I ever modded, so naturally his HDD was formatted as WBFS. I did the switch to FAT32 on mine before this was available and it took a frikkin long time. Using this prog, I did his in less than a minute! One of the most painless and easiest things I have ever used! I have known about this app for awhile and have recommended it to many, but just never had a chance to try it myself, so please excuse me for being so excited

@KBL - try using Easeus, and you need to delete the old config file in CFG - settings.cfg.

    Hi Jizzle,

I have already used EaseUS successfully. 8)
The .cfg file. Is that on the Sd card?

    Yes, in the sd/usb-loader folder.

    ERROR <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>

I'm getting this error "ERROR <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>" during the "creating FAT filesystem" part of the process.

What I have is a 2 TB WBFS formatted drive with 495 games on it.

Is there a maximum limit to the number of titles that can be processed?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Edit: Couple of observations.
    1. It fails at the same point each time (however I have deleted the game in question, and it just fails on the next one. Almost like it's hitting an upper limit and can't process any more.

    2. I deleted 5 games off the drive, and it seems to get just a little further, but again now fails at the same point.

So I guess I was just extracting the files wrong. Program works, I have not yet gone ahead and made the switch yet. Is it as simple as locating the WBFS drive and clicking "convert to Fat32"? I just want to be sure so I don't lose all my games. I have a 500gb HD, about how many Wii games is that with Fat32? I have about 90 now and it takes up around 200gb I think on WBFS. Wondering if I should dedicate to the whole thing to Fat32 or leave a little for NTFS. Advice, comment, suggestions are all appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    correct me if I'm wrong,,
I thought I read here that the size of the game would be at the normal 4.589 gig when in the fat32 ,
and not have the filler removed as with WBFS.
thanks for ALL the great stuff..

Trying to convert my drive, input is as follows:
    Screenshot from 2012-12-04 04:31:12.jpgScreenshot from 2012-12-04 04:31:45.jpg

After that, I aborted and restored backup. What should I do to fix that?
    Ubuntu 12.10, running on sudo.
