I have my hhd formatted to WBFS and have all my games backed up on there. Question, will this program convert to fat32 and still keep all games in tact or will I have to re-install them? If it does then then this program is long awaited as I want all my emulators to run thier games off of my hdd as well!

This does the conversion for you. When you end up you should have a FAT32 drive w/ ur titles on it.

[Edit] If you end up using it, I'd be interested in hearing about ur experience here...

Thank you !! I've been reluctant to change (if it aint broke dont fix it!) but I was curious ...converted a 920 gig partition to fat32 wiiflow did not see it but cfg did ...but I couldnt drop wiiflow so converted the fat32 to ntfs with easeus partition manager (free version) now wiiflow reads it a-ok!! yay faster game copying !!
worked great ...3 partitions done so far...I did make a backup like the guide said and checked the disk for errors before I started playing..so far all games I've played are error free.

Nice. I've been looking to test this myself as I'm still using a WBFS formatted drive for my games. But too lazy; hopefully this weekend I'll give it a shot

My hdd is wbfs format and i've been using WBFSmanager 4.0 for it seems an age to load games on.
Now i'm not someone who likes a change unless something is wrong, but there is a lot of talk about being on fat32 and i think it's time.
I must admit i've had no problems with any game on my usb hdd.
When wbfs2fat starts up it comes up with my drives connected to laptop. My usb hdd is letter E but it say's permission denied and i can't do anything. Have also ran program as administrator to.
Laptop OS windows7, also tried on windows vista.

Hope someone can help me out.
I know it you may not look as it has been 2 months but I will PM you as well.

I had this problem and could not understand why permission was denied as I was logged in as an Administrator and could browse/access drives using windows/WBFS Manager.

Even if you are logged in as administrator right click on the .exe and choose 'run as administrator' that will fix your permissions problems... BTW yes i've finally converted and it is an awesome bit of software....many thanks (as ever) to Wiihacks !!

Used this today and it was the easiest thing I have done to the Wii so far.
    Couple of questions...

1.) I have a WD320 Passport, one from the compatibility list. This originally had the WD partition on it, a FAT32 partition and a WBFS partition that I had the backup games on.
Since I used the WBFS2FAT converter, which was painless, I now have the WD partition with two FAT32 partitions on. The original one and the converted one. How do I combine the two FAT32 partitions? I have looked at Partition Magic V7 that I have and it shows that drive as one big HPTP drive or something, not the two FAT partitions.

2.) I tried playing the backups and they play fine using USB Loader but won't play using Configurable USB, won't find the FAT partiton. Am I stuck with USB Loader?

    TIA

    KBL
