more info would be good ie what games etc.
Your cios 249 rev 17 could be updated 21.

Have a look here for a cios up date pack http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

{Guide} Preparing and Installing USB Loader GX

Update your usb loader gx to the new 2.1. Delete your old gx files and then replace them with the ones you get from that link.
a syscheck like narse suggested would be helpful too.

get wad manager 1.7, that syscheck will really shed some light on the issue here too

you can just put the gx folder containing the boot.dol in your apps folder to test it out too, no need for wad install.

i want too do a systemcheck with syscheck but it freezes at TESTING IOS36 vulnerabilities...
when i do just the first one i get this:
    sysCheck v2.1.0b10 by Double_A and R2-D2199
    ...runs on IOS61 (rev 4890).

    Region: PAL
    System Menu 4.1E (v450)

Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 running on IOS61
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 89342547
    Boot2 v4
    Found 151 titles.
Found 34 IOS on this console. 5 of them are stub.

IOS249[56] (rev 21, Info: rev 21): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

Get Wad Manager 1.7 as skellinator suggested IOS249 base 56 is not compatible.

    Reinstall IOS36
